"Oyster Boat at Sunset" This is the scene I see when emerging from the Apalachicola National Forest on each of my
semi-annual trips to "Florida's Forgotten Coast," the area of East Point, Apalachicola
and St. George Island, Florida. It is a quaint, historic and picturesque area that has been
the subject of many of my paintings.
Apalachicola is known as "The Oyster Capitol of the World."
