"Jonquils"
Jonquils are my wife's favorite flower and we have many blooming in our backyard each spring.
A few are always cut and brought into the house to enjoy along with the view from the kitchen window.
This original watercolor painting was hanging in a bedroom that was ripped apart by a tornado in 1998.
I dug through the rubble and the driving rain to rescue it. I call it "my suvivor."
